Exciting news this week. We will now be working with Tantor Audio reviewing audiobooks for them. I was going to list some of the great authors whose books are recorded by Tantor, but it was turning into a really long list. I was really excited to see how many of my favorites were listed on their website.
I’ve been given the green light to share the MP3 discs sent to me for some audiobook giveaways. (Read: Used MP3 Giveaways). We will also have the occasional Tantor sponsored giveaways as well.
Update: I will also be working with Brilliance Audio as well so a new TBL list will been to be made.
I listen to almost as many books as I read. I was introduced to audiobooks by a friend after my children were born and I complained about my lack of reading time. I was very hesitant to give it a try since the idea of someone reading a book to me stopped when I was five. I still remember the cassettes (yes, I said cassettes) that she gave me, it was “Patty Jane’s House of Curl.” It was a bit of an odd story, but still enjoyable. Now, years later, I have my favorite narrators as well as favorite authors.
My question for you this week: Do you listen to audiobooks?
Giveaway ends Thursday, June 19th. Open to U.S. residents, 18 years and older.
