Friday Giveaway: Covert Game by Christine Feehan

Posted March 9, 2018 by Lucy D in Contests & Giveaways / 9 Comments

Hello all.  Happy Friday.  It is still Friday, isn’t it?

We have been hit pretty hard again and again in the last week. Last friday we were hit with a rainstorm and high winds. As my friends texted that they lost their electric, I went to my computer to set up Friday Giveaway only to hear a popping and sudden silence as we too lost power. We were without power for several days and although I can deal with the lost of electricity, the loss of heat sucks. Although that still beats my friends who have well water and
also lost power to their water pumps as well. Some of them are still without power!

That’s because we were hit on Wednesday with our first real snowstorm this season in MARCH!!! WTF!!! Easily over 12 inches of heavy wet snow, great for taking out power lines. This time I was prepared but we only power for about an hour and half. Just long enough for me to light all the candles and get prepped for the night of cold since we weren’t heading out in the storm. One of favorite past times during a snowstorm is watching the people try to get up the hill to their houses. Just in front of my house, the street gets very steep and this year we all stood in the big picture window and watched one car get stuck, slide down and try again about nine times before he realized that no matter how fast he went or how much momentum he got, he wasn’t making it that way. My husband shouts helpful hints at them, but they never seem to hear.

And after all the storms and power outages, I got sick. Really sick. Sleep all day sick. For once I want to call out sick and read all day. No, I get sick and it is climb in bed and pass out for days on end. It has been choas around here and now that my brain is back on track, I thought I would make it up to you with a can’t miss it giveaway.

This week I have a hardcover version of the new release from Christine Feehan, Covert Game. Oooooo. You know you want it.

Just leave a comment to be entered.  I can’t take anything more complicated right now.

Giveaway ends Thursday March 23rd.  Open to U.S. residents 18 years and older.

Treason, torture and temptation haunt the GhostWalkers in their most dangerous adventure yet, as Christine Feehan’s #1 New York Times bestselling series hits an explosive new high.

Rescuing an industrial spy from the hands of a criminal mastermind is a suicide mission for the GhostWalkers. And there’s no one more up to the task than Gino Mazza. He’s the perfect killing machine–a man driven by demons so dark and destructive that his blighted soul has given up trying to find solace. But his laser-sharp focus on his target has transformed into something nearing desire.

A treasonous senator dangled top secret GhostWalker data in front of a Chinese crime lord, and he bit. Zara Hightower, one of the world’s leading experts on artificial intelligence, was sent in to psychically wipe the crime lord’s computer network. She succeeded, but at a huge cost. Now she’s the captive of a man who has descended into paranoid madness. Torture and death await her…

But GhostWalkers never leave one of their own in enemy territory. And it’s up to Gino to save Zara, or kill her if it turns out she’s led them into a trap. Either way, heaven or hell won’t stop him…

I have become such a fan of Christine Feehan and was so excited to hear she was going to be at Reno this year I just couldn’t stand it. I absolutely told everyone…I’m going to meet her again YEAH! But unfortunately family emergency came up, my mom got sick, plus my best friend and sisar couldn’t go. So it’s all good cause covert game is on it’s way

Northeaster last week left many without power that they finally got back, After yesterday’s storm, there are more power outages. We got 9″ of heavy wet snow.
Hoping the storm they’re talking about for Monday/Tuesday stays out to sea.

I’m glad you’re feeling better and hopefully you keep your power on! Luckily we don’t lose power often but we have a backup generator for the rare times we do.

Love CF and am looking forward to this new book! Thanks. so much for the chance to win!

We had an ice storm several years back and lived at the top of a hill on a cul de sac. We put the blinds up in the master bedroom, got something hot to drink, and just sat and watched people for hours, try to get up the icy hill.
Glad you’re feeling somewhat better. Hopefully, no more storms.

We have a road like that, but its private. So there’s only a few neighbors that use it. Its so steep. Any light snow or ice it gets to slick to go up. A couple years ago we were stranded for a week because no one could get up. Then the way to our home is down hill as well. It was hilarious watching people try to bring us stuff and slip right down the rd or hill.

I have yet to read this author, The book looks super good, thank you for the chance.
