In fairness I want state that this is not one of my favorite tropes and I was unaware of that when I picked it up since there was nothing about it in the book description.

In Roadside Assistance, Sam was pretty angry over the fact that his best friend, Foley, was interested in Cyn as more than just a quick screw. Sam grew up with a neglectful mother and was “adopted” by Foley and his mother. He spent a good deal of his childhood with them and Foley’s mother treated […]
A sweet, sexy romance. You are going to want to be a Donnigan after reading this story.
I couldn’t be more disappointed with this book. The description intrigued me as something new and interesting but the story wasn’t cohesive at all. Trying to finish it was torture and I barely flipped through the epilogue. I am still left with unanswered questions.

The author does a great job cranking up the threats and tension. I was disappointed that there was some similarity to the ending of […]
Katie Ruggle’s debut novel is exciting and sweet. It kept me up late into the night reading. I held on to an ARC offer for the next book, Fan the Flames, waiting to see what I thought of this one and I ran to my computer to download it even before I was halfway finished.
