Once again Rebecca Zanetti held me captive. There was no way I was putting this story down.
I haven’t been this excited about a virus since Stephen King’s The Stand. Rebecca Zanetti has me looking forward to the end of civilization. There has to be something wrong with that.
Phantom Embrace was originally released as part of the On The Hunt anthology. This review was originally posted last year as part of that anthology review.
This is definitely Rebecca’s best series and it has just started. I am a fan of her Dark Protectors as well as her Sin Brothers series. This one has just enough of a dark edge to keep you worrying where she will go and will your favorite characters make it to the end.
This was a great beginning to a new series. This first story had mystery and intrigue, strong characters and a great introduction to the secondary characters who will be featured in the next few books. I am looking forward to more.
How can I hate a book that features four of my favorite authors? Sorry, I can’t. When I saw my first promo for this anthology, I knew it was a must have.
I love this series and it truly just keeps getting better and better with each book. The Other is no longer plotting against just the Immortal Guardians. Now they are looking to start the apocalypse. Priorities have changed. It’s no longer just about keeping the vampires and the Immortals a secret. Can the Guardians stop the plot to end the world before it’s too late?
I love Dianne Duvall’s Immortal Guardians. Richart is one of the few Guardians who can teleport. That makes him just a bit cooler than his twin, but don’t tell him I said that. I thought it was adorable that Richart develops a bit of a crush on Jenna after saving her, and even though this actions are a bit stalkerish, we know that he has a good heart.
Things are heating up in North Carolina. The Immortal Guardians thought the threat to them was once again just the vampires who they must protect the humans from. They thought the military threat was over after they killed everyone who had knowledge of the drug used, but someone has once again gained possession of the […]
Étienne d’Alençon is an Immortal Guardian who has been fighting the vampire scourge for over 200 years, but Étienne has never seen anything the likes of Krysta Linz. Krysta is a human who has been fighting vampires for almost six years. There is no way a human should have been able to survive that long […]
