Friday eBook Giveaway: Written in Red by Anne Bishop

Posted February 1, 2019 by Lucy D in Contests & Giveaways / 7 Comments

Happy Friday! I believe if you are anywhere in the U.S. right now, you are probably freezing. It has hit negative numbers here in New York. The only thing any of us should be doing right now is curling up in front of a fireplace with a good book and big cup of hot cocoa.

I am once again campaigning for human hibernation. I think the bears have it correct and the only thing we should be doing in sleeping this awful season away and only coming out again when the flowers begin to bloom. Anyone with me?

I am also trying really hard to convince you to try The Others series by Anne Bishop so this week’s giveaway is an eBook copy of Written in Red.   I am going to spend the rest of the winter pretending that I am part of the Beargard and stay indoors.

To be entered in this week’s giveaway, give me a Yay or Nay on hibernation.

Giveaway ends Thursday, February 7, 2019.

As a cassandra sangue, or blood prophet, Meg Corbyn can see the future when her skin is cut—a gift that feels more like a curse. Meg’s Controller keeps her enslaved so he can have full access to her visions. But when she escapes, the only safe place Meg can hide is at the Lakeside Courtyard—a business district operated by the Others.

Shape-shifter Simon Wolfgard is reluctant to hire the stranger who inquires about the Human Liaison job. First, he senses she’s keeping a secret, and second, she doesn’t smell like human prey. Yet a stronger instinct propels him to give Meg the job. And when he learns the truth about Meg and that she’s wanted by the government, he’ll have to decide if she’s worth the fight between humans and the Others that will surely follow.

    YAY. I’m all for hibernation!
I mean think about it, it’d be good for the economy and the environment.

So I came out of hibernation yesterday after being sick since Saturday. Now I wonder how long the nice weather in NC will last?.
