Friday Giveaway: The Beast of Beswick by Amalie Howard

Posted March 13, 2020 by Lucy D in Contests & Giveaways / 7 Comments

Our winner is…Mary Jo. Congratulations.

Happy Friday! Thank you all for the lovely birthday wishes!

I hope everyone is doing okay with the current craziness and feeling well. If you are under self-imposed isolation with a stack of books by your side, I say more power to you. I think we should all do that but I do say that every weekend. Sometimes being an anti-social introvert rocks! I said to my husband yesterday that I don’t know if it is mass hysteria or we simply aren’t panicking enough? Hmmm. Hopefully everything goes back to normal soon and we can return to our self-imposed isolation just for fun. 🙂

For this week’s giveaway I have a copy of The Beast of Beswick which I reviewed earlier this week. It is a very good Beauty and the Beast story. It did have some draggy moments but overall it was a very enjoyable story.

Simply leave a comment to be entered.

The giveaway is open to U.S. residents, 18 years and older. Giveaway ends Thursday, March 19th.

Lord Nathaniel Harte, the disagreeable Duke of Beswick, spends his days smashing porcelain, antagonizing his servants, and snarling at anyone who gets too close. With a ruined face like his, it’s hard to like much about the world. Especially smart-mouthed harpies—with lips better suited to kissing than speaking—who brave his castle with indecent proposals.

But Lady Astrid Everleigh will stop at nothing to see her younger sister safe from a notorious scoundrel, even if it means offering herself up on a silver platter to the forbidding Beast of Beswick himself. And by offer, she means what no highborn lady of sound and sensible mind would ever dream of—a tender of marriage with her as his bride.

Hi Lucy, you are not going to believe this but it’s bloody SNOWING here. Lol as for this coronavirus, I think they are making a mountain out of a mole heel. 😝

I love fairy tale re-talings. I add this to my TBR shelf after your review. Now the chance to actually win it. Cool, thanks!

Went to the grocery store for four items just as the craziness hit on Wednesday- lots of empty shelves and produce bins. Hope it quiets down next week.

Unfortunately I think it’s going to get worse before it gets better. People are freaking out like I’ve never seen before!

Thank you for giving us great escapes to help ease the craziness. Love Beauty and Beast themed stories.
