Happy Friday!
Yesterday was the longest day in history. I have no idea why but it seemed like it was going on f-o-r-e-v-e-r. And then it was only just lunchtime! How come that never happens on a day when you are having fun? I’ve never been quietly reading thinking–How long is this day going to last? How many books am I going to have to read before I can finally go to bed? Some days life just isn’t fair.
It’s not time for vacation just yet but I am still helping everyone accumulate their beach reading. This week we have the new Ali Hazelwood release Not in Love.
Just leave a comment to be entered.
This giveaway is for a paperback copy and is open to U.S. residents only. Giveaway ends Thursday, June 20th.
A forbidden, secret affair proves that all’s fair in love and science.
Rue Siebert might not have it all, but she has enough: a few friends she can always count on, the financial stability she yearned for as a kid, and a successful career as a biotech engineer at Kline, one of the most promising start-ups in the field of food science. Her world is stable, pleasant, and hard-fought. Until a hostile takeover and its offensively attractive front man threatens to bring it all crumbling down.
Eli Killgore and his business partners want Kline, period. Eli has his own reasons for pushing this deal through – and he’s a man who gets what he wants. With one burning exception: Rue. The woman he can’t stop thinking about. The woman who’s off-limits to him.
Torn between loyalty and an undeniable attraction, Rue and Eli throw caution out the lab and the boardroom windows. Their affair is secret, no-strings-attached, and has a built-in deadline: the day one of their companies will prevail. But the heart is risky business – one that plays for keeps.
I’ve loved every Ali Hazelwood book! And I think I’ve read them all to date! Thanks for the chance!
Now I never think about how many but I do have a bad habit of reading more than one or two books at the same time.
Love Ali Hazelwood! I usually have at least 2 to 3 books going at a time between physical books, audiobooks and e-books… I think I do best about finishing audiobooks regularly just because of my commute time though.
I just finished Bride by Ali Hazelwood. People say that ones not like her usual stuff. I need to read more and see what I think.
Reading makes time past by quickly.
I haven’t had a chance to read a book by Ali Hazelwood yet but have always wanted to. This sounds like a fun beach read!
never read this author
I’ve read and really enjoyed several of Ali Hazelwood’s books but this one caught my eye several months back and I’m super excited to read it! It looks really, really good!
