August Giveaway

Happy August!

I thought Happy August was better than Holy Crap! How’d it get to be August… I can’t believe I am sending my kid back to college already.

Good news, I got/made boxes so it is time to catch up on my winners. Let me know when you get my odd shaped, homemade boxes. Hint: Making boxes is not easy and some of them are not exactly square but they will work.

I have not made much progress on my TBR list because I am currently obsessed with the Dungeon Crawler Carl series by Matt Dinniman. I am finishing up book 7 right now,  and they keep getting longer and longer.  Sadly I am almost caught up with the series and that will make me so sad, as I have been rolling from one book into the other.  I keep seeing promotions for the Webtoon version of the series. There is also a live-action series in development and I hope that works out. We’ll come back to Carl and Donut soon enough.

Besides that series, I am finding myself focusing more and more on fantasy and romantasy. So much so that if I read a straight romance, I feel like “You’re not sure if he likes you back. That’s it? That’s the big problem?” Eventually the fantasy stories will hit that point where the plots will start to sound too similar and I will bounce back to a mystery or straight romance, but for now, give me magic and battles for kingdoms. Throw in a dragon for bonus points.
