What she doesn’t expect is to get tailed by a disarmingly handsome Man in Black.
Carter Brody, an agent in the Private Intelligence Sector, is desperate to follow in his late father’s footsteps by uncovering and hiding extraterrestrial sightings, though his track record mostly involves grainy—and clearly fake—UFO sightings. Until he comes across El’s footage and begs his mentor to let him on the case. Though El is not initially the most willing partner, Carter is stopped in his tracks by El’s ingenuity and confidence (and her very handy ability to get out of handcuffs), but also by the unnerving coincidence of how her sighting looks eerily like what he saw right before a tragedy took his only family from him.
The deeper El and Carter fall into the mystery, the harder it is for them to ignore the chemistry growing between them as their own alien feelings start to feel dangerously terrestrial.
