Giveaway Policy

General FAQ:

• Once the giveaway is over, winners will be announced by the upcoming weekend and will have one week to contact me. If I do not hear from the declared winner, a new name will be drawn and they will have a week to contact me.
• If after two draws the winner(s) has still not contacted me, the prize will be forfeit and a new winner(s) will not be named.
• All giveaways at EBookObsessed run up to two weeks unless otherwise noted.
• EBookObsessed acts as an intermediary for the giveaway sponsors and are therefore not responsible for unsent, lost, stolen or damaged prizes.
• We reserve the right to end or extend a giveaway without notice.
• All giveaways are open toU.S.and Canadian residents only unless otherwise noted.  Sorry.
• Unless the book is a Young Adult category, the giveaways will be restricted to 18 years and older please.  It will be noted in the giveaway. 
• Obviously void where prohibited by law.
• Giveaways will also be posted on Facebook and Twitter, however participants must comment at the giveaway post in the comments section of EBookObsessed in order to enter.
• All giveaways will state who is providing the prize. For sponsor giveaways, EBookObsessed is not responsible for the prizes being offered. If a sponsor does not honor their prize, there is little I can do about it (although giveaways from said sponsor may not occur again). However I have no fears about this happening and just want it known that it is the sponsors responsibility to fulfill their prize obligations and not EBookObsessed.
• These rules are subject to change or modified without prior notice.

For Giveaway Sponsors:

• Prize(s), terms and conditions, including any shipping restrictions, must be announced up front.
• All giveaways must be indicated if they are for 18 years or older.
• EBookObsessed will contact the sponsor with the winner(s) address up to two weeks after the giveaway has ended.
• Giveaway prize(s) should be sent to the winner(s) directly from the sponsor unless other arrangements have already been made.
• Giveaways will be promoted by EBookObsessed on our website as well as on Facebook and Twitter for the duration of the giveaway.
• Giveaways should include items that would interest romance and paranormal readers and may include, but are not limited to books, gift cards, swag, etc.
• EBookObsessed reserves the right to reject any giveaway(s) that are deem unsuitable or unsavory.

For Giveaway Entrants:

• Entrants must answer the question stated within the giveaway in order to enter. Any comments without an answer will be deleted and the entrant disqualified without notification.
• Winner(s) must provide a valid address within one week or the prize will be forfeit and a new winner(s) chosen.
• Entrants must be 13 years or older to enter any giveaway on EBookObsessed unless otherwise noted.
• Entrants under 18 years old must have their parent or guardian’s permission to enter any giveaway on EBookObsessed.
• If the giveaway prize involves a novel, the winner(s) should post a review of the novel someplace. Whether it is on their own blog, Amazon, GoodReads, Barnes & Nobles, or wherever, it doesn’t matter. Just help get the word out.
• Winners will be announced on EBookObsessed and I will attempt to contact via email. It is the entrants responsibility to check the EBookObsessed posting to see if they have won.  If a response is not receive from our e-mail within one week, the next winner will be contacted. 
• Personal information will never be sold or shared except with the sponsor of the giveaway.  Afterwards, all information will be deleted.
• The prize stated is the prize you will receive unless otherwise contacted. Due to circumstances, an alternate prize may be substituted at the sponsors discretion. Winner(s) may not request a substitution and the prize is non-transferable. If you do not want the prize being offered, you are more than welcome to answer the question, but please mention that you are not entering the giveaway.
• Please note: if you win an electronic copy of a book, it is illegal to forward, giveaway or copy it in any fashion once you receive it. Doing so violates the author’s copyright and if I find out about it, you will be banned from future giveaways.
• By entering any giveaway, you are agreeing to adhere to any of the preceding terms.
