Absolutely delightful! Another twist on the Beauty and the Beast tales which is a favorite of mine. I was surprised to see that it is 389 pages because I sped right through it.
We are up to 47 books in the series and various short-stories. With that said, they can’t all be winners. This one didn’t give us much in characters or in great investigation. Hopefully she isn’t saving everything up for Book 50.
I love Thea Harrison. Her strong female characters are amazing. This trilogy featured women that don’t back down from a fight and who insist on battling side by side with the hero. I was so excited about Raj and Nayna’s story and I loved the Pride & Prejudice twist. Unfortunately, this story needs illustrations or to be turned into a great Bollywood movie for full effect. I desperately wanted to see the outfits being described.
