Roland was not my favorite of the brothers and his story does nothing to change my mind. Where Book 2 had too much unnecessary story, Book 3 could have used some extra scenes.
The kids are the best part of the story. This story doesn’t shine as much as Book 1 but it was still entertaining.
Absolutely delightful! Another twist on the Beauty and the Beast tales which is a favorite of mine. I was surprised to see that it is 389 pages because I sped right through it.
It was a surprise to find this historical western series. It has been awhile since I read an old western. This was a great choice. I like my cowboys old school, not Tweeting on the back of a horse, so I was very interested in an offered copy of Sarah McCarty’s upcoming release. This is […]
I finally read this story which I had hoarded away some time ago unfortunately it didn’t live up to the original hype.
I was so excited to find this sequel story featuring Mason’s brother, Oswald. He was the thoughtful and considerate brother in Book 1. But Oswald might have become more coldblooded in the four years between stories. The romance between Fenella and Oswald was building nicely. Unfortunately, the story eventually fell flat for me when the conflict turned stupid and ruined all the bonding between the characters.
I just couldn’t finish this story. I was halfway through except I just kept pausing because I didn’t want to hear anymore then forcing myself to turn it back on, so I knew I was done.
I am sorry that I didn’t start this series from the beginning. I loved Mary Elizabeth and the finale of this series would have been sweeter if I had been here from the beginning.
Medieval stories don’t usually interest me, but this one was so sweet. I just loved it.
Anne Gracie saved the best for last. Daisy and Flynn overcame their humble backgrounds to fulfill their dreams and in doing so stumbled upon a love one dreamed of and one never dreamed could happen.
