I was asked to be part of the blog tour for Book 2, Fighting Shadows, and the story intrigued me so I agreed. When I looked into the series, I just had to start with Book 1, Fighting Silence. I was overwhelmed by the story of love and family, and their struggle to keep this family together.

A great story with fabulous characters. I have already downloaded Book 1 from the series so I can read Emmie and Slater’s story.
This was a sweet romance and a very quick read. It reminded me a bit of the movie Leap Year with Amy Adams.
