Review: Buns by Alice Clayton
Alice Clayton takes us for one last ride through her Hudson Valley town of Bailey Falls and I, for one, will miss it.

I’ve been waiting for this story for awhile and I wasn’t disappointed. Sexy, charming Declan meets the one woman who won’t swoon at his feet and they are stunning together.
What a nice bonus to the Search & Rescue series and set up for the next.
I had a hard time connecting with these characters. The story was okay, but there was nothing exceptional to it. This is the first of a new series but other than Gwen’s brother, Chris, there no other stand out secondary character who caught my interest. Chef Gwen Lalonde thought that she was helping her boss/boyfriend when […]
I started out really liking the characters but the story sort of petered out. The real drama faded away and the author threw one in that felt made up. Since there was no real substance to the story, the characters didn’t flesh out.
This is a creative new concept for an Urban Fantasy series.
This is one of those books where I just wanted more. There was a lot going on in this book but the best part is the chemistry between Dexter and Eleanor. As with most first books, there was so much set up and other things going on, by the time everything really started going, the story was over.
I finished this book in a day. Each chapter kept drawing me into the next into the next and then the next thing I knew, it was done.
Make sure you will be able to finish this in a day. There is so much action and danger you are not going to be able to put this down and actually go to sleep.
I have mixed feelings about the story. There was a lot to introduce as far as this new world and just as it got going, it ended. There are a few more stories in the series and I might give the next book a try to see where it goes.
