Review: Hard to Handle by Christine Warren
I gave up any interest in this series after the first two books, but when I saw this one featuring the first female gargoyle, I thought “Oh, maybe that will be an interesting twist.” Nope.

Hunted was a non-stop chase. Trying to find places to stop was painful. Atticus and Granuaile were on the run from the Goddesses of the Hunt, Diana and Artemis, and they can’t shake them, especially when they find vampires, dark elves and assassins in their path. Tensions stay high and also be read for a period of mourning.
I liked Sam’s story a lot more than I thought I would. While he was a bit of a jerk in Roadside Assistance, he turns out to be a big softie. In Roadside Assistance, Sam was pretty angry over the fact that his best friend, Foley, was interested in Cyn as more than just a […]
Patricia Briggs’ Mercy Thompson is at the top of my list of Urban Fantasy series, but this story stands out. I loved that we finally had some Adam time, as well as the fact that everyone came out to rescue Mercy from her captors.
Simon and Cassie have such fabulous chemistry. This story was both super sweet and sexy hot. It’s a decadent treat.
As much as I like this author and narrator for the Witchless in Seattle series, I did not enjoy this story as much. It might be that there wasn’t as much story here as sex. I was almost hooked at the end to grab the next, but I am not sure if I will bother.
It’s finally time for a new Druid, and a move forward in the romance department between Atticus and Granuaile, but no one said it was going to be easy especially when 1,500 years of scapegoating comes biting you in the butt. Some spoilers from prior books. I really love this series. While I felt Hammered […]
A lot of potential, but this first novel didn’t have too much paranormal for a paranormal story. Charlaine Harris’s Midnight, Texas gave me flashbacks of reading old Stephen King Castle Rock stories. You knew there was something off about the place, but you weren’t exactly sure what was happening. It was a wonderful set up […]
I miss the original storyline of this series which focused on Charley the grim reaper and P.I. I am not so excited about the plotlines recently. I miss the simpler stories where Charley used her ability to see the dead to solve investigations. I still hate the premise of leaving her baby to be raised […]
Once again Rebecca Zanetti held me captive. There was no way I was putting this story down.
