Audiobook Review: Fire Touched by Patricia Briggs
Mercy has been dragged into the middle of every supernatural problem and this time it is Mercy that drags the pack into the middle of the fae/human standoff.

Gertrude Hunt will be hosting an intergalactic summit between three warring factions and like Caldania, I was looking forward to seeing some action. Book 2 was definitely more exciting than the first book and still an enjoyable story.
I love the idea that Cecy Robson has switched from Celia to Taran in her narrative of the series. I am frustrated that she has taken a step back in time since we left Taran injured and floundering with her powers and self-esteem. Now it might take books and books before we start to unravel how she deals with her injury and all that comes with it.
Charley Davidson might have lost her memory, but she hasn’t lost her talent for getting herself into trouble. We are as frustrated as Reyes waiting to see what it will take to finally return Charley to her old self, but the story has all the usual fun and quirkiness we have come to expect from Charley Davidson and Darynda Jones.
This novella is a gift for the devoted fans. You have to be caught up with the series to read it without ruining the stories and if you haven’t read an Elder Races novel, this is not the place to start. It left me with many more questions than answers as to the future of the series.
Delightful and witty. Jessica Sims is your next favorite author. This is my second book by Jessica Sims and remembering how much I enjoyed the last book, I was excited to receive a copy of this book. As I read, I saw this as the next Tina Fey/Amy Poehler movie. Someone get on that, please.
Kresley Cole’s stories are always enjoyable. I found the most interesting part of this story was seeing the IAD world from an outsider’s perspective, both Jo’s, who is unaware of the Lore and her relationship to it, and Rune’s, who is a member of the Møriør or the Bringers of Doom.
This was a good beginning of a new series although I would have preferred to save the family mystery for the second book and just focus on Kerris’s gift of Spirit Shaman. We did not spend enough time out of the cemetery.
Fred and the gang are back for more adventures. I was so excited when this story was finally released back in July, but I had to hold out for the audiobook which was just released. Kirby Heyborne did such a great job bringing this series to life for me, I had to hold out to hear his presentation.
A very exciting story. Very powerful forces are finding their way to Atlanta which have the power to bring plagues and make shifters crazy, especially male shifters. Kate will need to fight this danger alone if she wants to protect all her shifter friends. Meanwhile, sexual tensions and hurt feelings between Curran will peak when misunderstandings lead to make up sex.
