I hate insta-love. Insta-love feels like it is forced down your throat like yucky medicine. In Brighter than the Sun, Rusty (adopted sister of the Kelly boys) has brought home an old college friend to stay with her at the Kelly base camp. What she hasn’t told everyone is that Zoe Kildaire is a […]

Another book on camping to give me nightmares, but if I had to take a hike into the mountains and snuggle up for warmth, I would want my own George to keep me company.
I am enjoying Katie Ruggle’s Search and Rescue series and I am looking forward to more. There are some great characters and a real family feeling to this small town rescuers. The author does a great job cranking up the threats and tension. I was disappointed that there was some similarity to the ending of […]
Although I didn’t fall under the spell of Nathan and Amelia as much as I did with the cuter romance of Tucker and Karen in the last book, the story plot contained some unexpected twists that kept your focus on the investigation.
Action packed as well as sexy and romantic, you can’t ask for more. I like this series and I like Katie Reus. I really liked how the characters clicked and how the action kept up the entire story.
I thought this was going to be a simple investigation. I never expected where she was going with this. Shocking and intense, as you would expect from a J.D. Robb novel
I really enjoy this series. I was a little put off at the beginning by how close the storyline reflected another book that I read, which is going to happen now and again when you read the same type of story. After the start, this one did go off in its own direction. Derek isn’t […]

I found this book on an add on Facebook. I was intrigued by the description of the heroine falling in love with arch-villian. I was so intrigued I read it at the first opportunity to squeeze it in. It started out very promising and lost me halfway through. Best I can say is “meh.”
This was a great beginning to a new series. This first story had mystery and intrigue, strong characters and a great introduction to the secondary characters who will be featured in the next few books. I am looking forward to more.
