If you have to break the hearts of fans and release a final chapter, this is the way to do it. This story had a great start but you could see right away that Julian was in a toxic place and the relationship could only be doomed but you know that it was something worthing fighting for and you just have to wait for him to figure it out.
I am enjoying the characters and the world building of this series. I would highly recommend to all the fantasy/urban fantasy lovers out there. I finally read this story which I had hoarded away some time ago unfortunately it didn’t live up to the original hype.
I would highly recommend giving Anne Bishop and her The Others series a try. Such fascinating world building, appealing characters and just a hint of romance to spice it up.
I am so happy that I delayed in picking up this series. It was awesome to binge the whole thing. This was a great finale to the trilogy, and there is now going to be a novella and a connected trilogy feature Nevada’s younger sister starting by the end of the year.
Sexy and sweet. I enjoyed this story just as much as I enjoyed Melt for You.
The characters and wonderful and their romance is captivating.
I was drawn in from the opening scene. While this book is set in the same world building as the Others series, this is the book one in a spinoff.
