Audiobook Review: For the Win by Sara Rider
I loved the energy in this book. Lainey’s excitrment and dedication for the game rejuvenated Gabe’s love for it and Gabe showed Lainey how she could enjoy life as well as be dedicated.

If you like graphic novels and superheroes, Drew Hayes gives an interesting twist to the education and training to become the next Hero.
Rock Redemption is a painfully beautiful, rip-your-heart-out romance. I saw several reviews discussing how this story will rip open your emotions and it is all true. You will feel all the pain and torment as Kit and Noah try and work through their love for each other and Noah’s dark past.
Fred and the gang are back for more adventures. I was so excited when this story was finally released back in July, but I had to hold out for the audiobook which was just released. Kirby Heyborne did such a great job bringing this series to life for me, I had to hold out to hear his presentation.
I have enjoyed this series, but I found it hard to connect with Jane. She is considered the true beauty of the group but unlike her sister or her parents, she didn’t want love. She wanted security. She came off very mercenary and a bit stupid.
How can I hate a book that features four of my favorite authors? Sorry, I can’t. When I saw my first promo for this anthology, I knew it was a must have.
Updated: As I get more into this series, I have gone back to the audiobooks, but I found the world building on top of the obscure legends and myths introduced in these first few books to be too much to focus on for audiobooks. I would recommend reading the first two novels and then switching over.
Updated: You should read the first two books and you can pick up audiobook again after you become more familiar with the world building and the characters.
This is the first book of the KGI series, but thankfully, not the first book that I read from that series. I found Abby to be unlikable and Kane to be unremarkable. Even knowing the characters as I do now, none stood our as interesting in this first story. For the first time I will say that if I had started here, I would not be following this series.
I always love a Nalini Singh story but the last three in this series have topped the charts. She has brought major changes to the series and in this story she shows us that not everyone is hoping that the psynet finds stability.
