Review: Edge of Danger by Katie Reus
Action packed as well as sexy and romantic, you can’t ask for more. I like this series and I like Katie Reus. I really liked how the characters clicked and how the action kept up the entire story.

I really enjoy this series. I was a little put off at the beginning by how close the storyline reflected another book that I read, which is going to happen now and again when you read the same type of story. After the start, this one did go off in its own direction. Derek isn’t a character who is going to be overly romantic, but there was plenty of action to balance that out.
This is definitely Rebecca’s best series and it has just started. I am a fan of her Dark Protectors as well as her Sin Brothers series. This one has just enough of a dark edge to keep you worrying where she will go and will your favorite characters make it to the end.
[box style=”rounded” border=”full”]Exciting and delightful. I haven’t been so happy with a new author in such a long time. This was the third in the series but there was a perfect balance of enough information to keep me from being lost but not so much that I can’t go back and read the prior […]
This was a great beginning to a new series. This first story had mystery and intrigue, strong characters and a great introduction to the secondary characters who will be featured in the next few books. I am looking forward to more.
This book gets no stars from me. I have never hated a book more in my life. I think my blood pressure rose dangerously high while reading it. Don’t buy it. Don’t borrow it. Don’t read it! If you’re a Maya Banks fan and you see it in the bookstore, scream and run away!
Sean Reilly thought he and his twin brother, Oliver, could walk away from their old life, but his old boss is holding his brother hostage, unless Sean will do one more job for him; and his boss’s rival, is literally holding a gun the Bailey’s head unless Sean betrays the man he knew all his life. Sean can’t choose between his twin and the woman he loves. He’s going to have to come up with something quick if he hopes to get them all out of there alive.
This story has been teased for the last two books. Levi Lazaro was a top agent for the NSA until he wife was murdered. After that he dropped off the radar with only one thought — to find the men who killed his wife and make them pay. This was a thrilling tale of a man who allows need for revenge gets derailed for a woman who makes him feel for the first time since his wife died.
This is the first book of the KGI series, but thankfully, not the first book that I read from that series. I found Abby to be unlikable and Kane to be unremarkable. Even knowing the characters as I do now, none stood our as interesting in this first story. For the first time I will say that if I had started here, I would not be following this series.
The final (?) story of the Sin Brothers series was certainly exciting. It was full of chase scenes, fights, gun fire and daring escapes. I’m sorry to see the end of these devoted brothers. The ending will be satisfying yet leaves a little wiggle room if Rebecca decides to toss in a follow up novel or novella to tie up some loose ends.
