Audiobook Review: Star Witch by Helen Harper
The world’s laziest witch reminds me of myself, if I had magic powers. I love Ivy.
The world’s laziest witch reminds me of myself, if I had magic powers. I love Ivy.
I have found my new favorite witch: Ivy Wilde. Her superpower is making magic with as little effort as possible and with any luck doing it from her couch in her PJs. Ivy Wilde was thrown out of the hallowed Order of Witches after being accused of cheating and…um, assault for punching out her then […]
I love Nalini Singh. Her characters are vibrant and her stories are engrossing.
Archangel’s Prophecy held me captive and then left me pulling the blankets over my head and crying…not the pretty, movie weeping, but that ugly, red-faced sobbing.
We are up to 47 books in the series and various short-stories. With that said, they can’t all be winners. This one didn’t give us much in characters or in great investigation. Hopefully she isn’t saving everything up for Book 50.
I love Thea Harrison. Her strong female characters are amazing. This trilogy featured women that don’t back down from a fight and who insist on battling side by side with the hero. At the end of Moonshadow (Book 1) Nik and Sophie managed to break through the broken passageway from Earth to the otherland […]
I love Fred. How come the most boring vampire in Town is also the most awesome?
Things are coming to a head between the Brotherhood and the witches, but which side Nava, Rohan and the rest of the Rasha will fall on is yet to be seen.
If you have to break the hearts of fans and release a final chapter, this is the way to do it. Magic Triumphs has mystery, tension, humor, action, enemies and friends working together for the greater good and some backstabbing as well, and let’s not forget the most adorable toddler you have ever met. Ilona […]
I am enjoying the characters and the world building of this series. I would highly recommend to all the fantasy/urban fantasy lovers out there. There has always been a line between humans and terra indigene who subtlely control the natural world, but some humans are beginning to stir up unrest. They want more: more land, […]
I would highly recommend giving Anne Bishop and her The Others series a try. Such fascinating world building, appealing characters and just a hint of romance to spice it up.
