Action packed as well as sexy and romantic, you can’t ask for more. I like this series and I like Katie Reus. I really liked how the characters clicked and how the action kept up the entire story.

I really enjoy this series. I was a little put off at the beginning by how close the storyline reflected another book that I read, which is going to happen now and again when you read the same type of story. After the start, this one did go off in its own direction. Derek isn’t a character who is going to be overly romantic, but there was plenty of action to balance that out.

This was a thrilling tale of a man who allows need for revenge gets derailed for a woman who makes him feel for the first time since his wife died.

Katie Reus did a wonderful job and a not so wonderful job with this story. This might have been the first time that an author had me so excited about secondary characters that I had no real interest in reading the story in front of me.
Review: Give It All by Cara McKenna
I was pleasantly surprised to find myself enjoying this story. After Book #1, I thought Raina would end up back together with Miah, but the polished and snobby Duncan hid a damaged psyche and his underlying insecurities made him more human and I enjoyed his damaged character a great deal.
