Review: Of Flame and Light by Cecy Robson
I had such a hard time putting this down. There was so much excitement and as always, Cecy had me tearing up over Gemini and Taran.

[box style=”rounded” border=”full”]What a perfect summer read. Sun, fun and college friends having one more summer together before they join the real world. Trinity Summers is just the bubbly, happy girl to help Calahan get passed his PTSD and learn to live again. [/box] Trinity Summers has no boundaries, and apparently no filters. While I might […]
Cecy Robson plays havoc with your emotions. She drags you in and truly has you suffer alongside her characters, whether it be a paranormal or contemporary story. By this time, I should know better and have a happy, lighthearted book set aside as my next read.
I like the O’Brien family. It is an interesting group of characters. This series is linked to her other contemporary series, Shattered Past. Just like Shattered Past, this first book features an abusive authority figure.
I love the idea that Cecy Robson has switched from Celia to Taran in her narrative of the series. I am frustrated that she has taken a step back in time since we left Taran injured and floundering with her powers and self-esteem. Now it might take books and books before we start to unravel how she deals with her injury and all that comes with it.
This is the last book (for now) from Celia’s POV and author Cecy Robson doesn’t send her off with a party. Evil is still chasing after Celia in all its forms and kicking her butt at every turn. Can Celia hold out long enough to survive and finally get her happily ever after?
The excitement never ends for Celia Wird, and by excitement I mean attempts to kill her. In this story, even friends become enemies. With no one at her back, she will still risk everything to get back the one friend she still has in the world and to protect the man she loves but can’t have.
A week after I finished this story, I am still not sure how I feel about it. I was definitely intrigued by the characters and the story line, but I haven’t made up my mind yet how much I liked the characters and what my interest would be to read any other books in the […]
Discover Cecy Robson’s sensational Weird Girls series—or return to where the magic first began—with this eBook original prequel novella about four sisters coming to grips with their unique supernatural powers. Celia Wird shouldn’t possess the ability to transform into a tigress. Her three sisters should never be able to burst into flames, heal wounds, or […]
Celia’s a girl in trouble. Her heart is bound to Aric, but he is a pureblood were who must deny her or risk condemning his species to extinction. And that’s just her love life. She’s also been called to take down a group of demon terrorists looking to overthrow the paranormal world. (No pressure.) In […]
