I am so happy that I delayed in picking up this series. It was awesome to binge the whole thing. This was a great finale to the trilogy, and there is now going to be a novella and a connected trilogy feature Nevada’s younger sister starting by the end of the year.
I was drawn in from the opening scene. While this book is set in the same world building as the Others series, this is the book one in a spinoff.
I was so happy to see another Witchless in Seattle story had come out and that is why it is so much worse when the story was disappointing.
Dianne Duvall’s Immortal Guardians is my favorite series hands down. Every character is beloved. Every story is intense, funny, romantic and exciting. If you haven’t read the Immortal Guardians, you are truly missing out!
Rebecca Zanetti tortures me again. I don’t think I am going to be able to rest until I get all the books in this series. Please type faster. I must have them now!
This series is good but just too short to be great.
Hugh d’Ambray is the villian everyone loves to hate but he has met his equal in Elara Harper. Watching these two fight each other for dominance is almost as exciting at the supernatural attacks where they need to join forces to protect their people.
I wasn’t a fan of Human Alliance leader Bowen Knight, but as always, Nalini Singh made me love him. We also get an amazing first look at the world of the BlackSea changelings.
Book 2 was much better than Book 1 but again I split between the pluses and the minuses for this series.
