A good beginning with lots to keep us guessing and reading.
Narrator: Ruth Urquhart
I really wish the other three stories were more like this one.
Are you freakin’ kidding me?
This one was painful. Just painful. Saffron is still trying to be the best damn Faery Godmother in an office full of jerks who hate her and who treat her badly. She is still chasing clients around to figure out what their wish is. This time she is given a wish for Rose, a woman […]
This was an interesting premise for a fantasy series and had some cute references but as it continues, it also runs out of steam. The first book is the best one of the three out so far.
An enjoyable conclusion to a slow starting series.
This second book of the series definitely picks up its pace and has a more interesting plot. It is definitely an improvement over Book 1.
Understanding that this is the first book in a series, the set up of took a lot of time and was a bit draggy. On the plus side, the Helen Harper story was actually narrated with a British accent.
This was not exactly what I expected and even weeks later I am still not certain how I feel about this story. I do have copies of the next two in the series and I will give them a try.
