Review: Dead Heat by Patricia Briggs
Charles and Anna have been together three years and their relationship has grown and solidified. In Dead Heat, they visit an old friend of Charles which will address the problems associated with being a supernatural and loving someone who is human. Dead Heat will also bring about some changes to their relationship and I am looking forward to seeing how those will be addressed.
Review: The Dragon Conspiracy by Lisa Shearin
Although this story was enjoyable, it was missing a little of the fun of the prior stories. Mac isn’t a kick ass agent yet, but she is losing her new agent awkwardness which was part of her quirky personality which made her so entertaining.
Review: The Grendel Affair by Lisa Shearin
This series is perfect for anyone who enjoyed Molly Harper’s Good Girl or Naked Werewolf series. The writing is lighthearted. The characters are funny. And there are so many little zings as tossed in everywhere it was hard to find a favorite scene. Not everyone likes their vampires and werewolves with a side of fun, but I certainly enjoyed it.
Audiobook Review: Hunting Ground by Patricia Briggs
As exciting as the whole werewolf politic issue is, what I love best is watching Anna and Charles trying to build their relationship. It has only been a few weeks since Charles has returned from Chicago with Anna, but he is starting to break down some of her barriers and they are strengthening their bond. They are such opposites but they are definitely mean to be together.
Audiobook Review: Cry Wolf by Patricia Briggs
Charles Cornick and Anna Latham are such opposites that they are the perfect couple. Charles brings a stability and a sense of safety to the abused woman, and Anna brings out a humanity that no one usually sees in Charles. I am loving this couple and am enjoying them as much as the Mercy Thompson series.
