Audiobook Review: Wishful Thinking by Helen Harper
This was an interesting premise for a fantasy series and had some cute references but as it continues, it also runs out of steam. The first book is the best one of the three out so far.

An enjoyable conclusion to a slow starting series.
This second book of the series definitely picks up its pace and has a more interesting plot. It is definitely an improvement over Book 1.
Katie Ruggle keeps getting better and better. Risk It All is part crime drama, part survival adventure and all excitement.
DNF – So much possibility but I just couldn’t take the pacing of the story.
Understanding that this is the first book in a series, the set up of took a lot of time and was a bit draggy. On the plus side, the Helen Harper story was actually narrated with a British accent.
I really enjoyed Katie Ruggle’s stories, but this new series brings a fresh, new twist.
Gladiators, Princesses, Political Intrigue. When We Were Kings is all action and suspense. It was so hard to put down since every scene was a fight for their lives or preparing for one.
Although there is a novella which came out last year, I am sad to stay this is the last book of the series. I definitely want more Ivy.
The world’s laziest witch reminds me of myself, if I had magic powers. I love Ivy.
