[box style=”rounded” border=”full”]What a perfect summer read. Sun, fun and college friends having one more summer together before they join the real world. Trinity Summers is just the bubbly, happy girl to help Calahan get passed his PTSD and learn to live again. [/box] Trinity Summers has no boundaries, and apparently no filters. While I might […]
This story was an absolute treat for Psy-Changeling fans. Nalini Singh strikes a perfect balance in Allegiance of Honor for her ensemble psy-changeling cast.
[box style=”rounded” border=”full”]This was presented to me as a stand alone story. As #15 of the Gansett Island series, I can attest that it is far from it. There was too many side stories going on and I couldn’t get into the novel. This was a DNF for me.[/box] I will start out by telling […]
Of course the story Ain’t She Sweet is about the one Abbott sibling who is always contrary and competitive. Unlike her laid back sibs, Charley doesn’t want the HEA that her parents have. Who wouldn’t want a Tyler of their very own?
Such a great Urban Fantasy series. You get a real feel for the growing loyalties of this groups of characters in this story. Where once Kate was all alone, several of the characters volunteer for this mission simply to protect Kate even knowing they are probably walking into a trap.
It has been three years since the last Demon Hunter book. While I enjoyed reading it, it seemed to meander from beginning of the story until the end dropping some characters and walking away from some plot points. With such a long delay since the last book, it was hard to pick up where we left off with the characters. I had a vague recollection of some things but not where we left off with everyone.
[box style=”rounded” border=”full”]Kate Daniels is quickly becoming one of my favorite urban fantasy series. I am back to audiobooks on this series and I do enjoy the narration. [/box] Kate Daniels has resigned from the Order of Merciful Aid, and has used her years of experience as a Merc and from training and working at […]
I am enjoying Katie Ruggle’s Search and Rescue series and I am looking forward to more. There are some great characters and a real family feeling to this small town rescuers. The author does a great job cranking up the threats and tension. I was disappointed that there was some similarity to the ending of both this book and the prior book and I hope that doesn’t become a thing in this series or the stories will become predictable.
This is a very enjoyable series. Since we have already been introduced to all of the important characters by this point, we could jump right into the action.
