I had a difficult time getting into this story. Rich girl meets poor boy. Hides who she is and gets mad when he disappears from her life. They reconnect but she doesn’t trust him. But–but she’s the one who lied. I had little sympathy for Phoebe and a hard time connecting with her.

I absolutely loved this story. The characters were fabulous and the story flowed so well. You could feel the click of their connection from the first text messages and the tight friendship which grows between them. This will be going right next to The Hook Up on my Go-To Book list.
This is one of those books that called to me when I saw it. What I didn’t realize it was saying was “Save yourself. Run away!” I was so intrigued by this one, that I jumped it up my list. Unfortunately, I was horribly disappointed.
Moonlight is the last in the On Dublin Street series. As a final story, it was a wonderful tale of Shannon’s brother, Logan MacLeod, recently released from prison. Logan went to jail for beating up Shannon’s ex-friend after he attacked Shannon. We know what a good man he is for what he has done to support Shannon over the years, but two years in prison has Logan doubting his self-worth. It is new neighbor Grace who helps remind Logan what a good man he truly is.
This book was recommended to me and as a fan of Elle Kennedy’s Killer Instinct series, I was happy to give it a try. It was an enjoyable new adult story, but it took me awhile to come to like these characters. This is not my favorite new adult book but still much better than many of the standard tropes on the new adult shelf.
This was a interesting story premise by new author Prescott Lane. Player Reed Langston knows what he wants and from first glance he wants Peyton Mayfield. Peyton is still traumatized from being raped and not ready to let a man into her life. But Reed isn’t ready to give up. He gets Peyton to accept him into her life, but will confessing her dark secret be too much reality for this player.
I was moved by the battle of these two people finding someone special just when they are trying to finish their last few weeks of college. Both trying to juggle the workload and stresses of finals, working and trying to study and do homework and into this barely balanced life, they throw in a difficult […]
[box style=”rounded” border=”full”]I did it. I judged a book by its cover…and its back cover. I pushed this one off because I wasn’t in the mood for a college drama where the big pompous jock just wants to get laid by the one girl who doesn’t want him. I was so wrong. God, I love […]
The last book of the True Believers gives us Kylie and Jonathon, college students, who will have to deal with a very grown up problem after one night of passion. You will laugh and cry with these delightful characters as they deal with the ups and down of an unplanned pregnancy and getting to know […]
