I have been looking forward to this book since the teasers about Charlie and T-Rex in Rock Addiction. Nalini Singh tried to make up for it with daydreams and dirty talk, but panic attacks stilted almost all of the love scenes.

Charles and Anna have been together three years and their relationship has grown and solidified. In Dead Heat, they visit an old friend of Charles which will address the problems associated with being a supernatural and loving someone who is human. Dead Heat will also bring about some changes to their relationship and I am looking forward to seeing how those will be addressed.

This series is perfect for anyone who enjoyed Molly Harper’s Good Girl or Naked Werewolf series. The writing is lighthearted. The characters are funny. And there are so many little zings as tossed in everywhere it was hard to find a favorite scene. Not everyone likes their vampires and werewolves with a side of fun, but I certainly enjoyed it.
