This series is a prequel to Dianne’s popular Immortal Guardian series. This is the introduction of the gifted ones. They have advanced DNA and special abilities such as reading thoughts, healing with their hands or seeing the future. It is their descendants who will someday become the Immortal Guardians. It is much different from her current series, but just as enjoyable.
The grim reaper and the son of Satan are having a baby. This book is the beginning of big changes to the series. Although I truly love the series, I did grumble a bit about the ending. I don’t know where the series will be going in the future novels, but I can’t wait to see what’s next.
The cleverly titled final story to her cocktail series is a novella which ties up all the loose ends and lets us say good-bye to Simon and Caroline in style. It also gives us a reminder that it is the marriage and not the wedding which should be the focus of any engaged couple.
I was asked to review this book which is the 3rd in the series. Whatever enjoyment I had with the characters was overshadowed by the fact that I stepped into a story with it’s own world building and the author made little to no attempt to catch up late comers to the series.
This was a interesting story premise by new author Prescott Lane. Player Reed Langston knows what he wants and from first glance he wants Peyton Mayfield. Peyton is still traumatized from being raped and not ready to let a man into her life. But Reed isn’t ready to give up. He gets Peyton to accept him into her life, but will confessing her dark secret be too much reality for this player.
Delightful and humorous. Alice Clayton never fails to charm me. Her humor pops up in the oddest and most entertaining ways. Her characters are engaging and you want to be invited over to join in the fun. Lucas Campbell can be my ginger kryptonite.
Wow. Wow. Wow. Larissa Ione kicks up the excitement in Book 2. Hunter has to make a choice – marry one twin and bring peace with ShadowSpawn or marry the twin he wants and kick off an all out war with a larger and more brutal Clan. But first he has to break an […]
This series reminds me a little of the Mattie Winston Mysteries by Annelise Ryan. Janet MacPhail and her search and rescue dog, Jay, as well as her boyfriend Tom Saunders are once again stuck in the middle of a murder investigation. No one is going to miss this victim, but more than likely the killer […]
Readers back for a third round of the bestselling Cocktail series will enjoy a madcap romantic comedy about bodice ripping and chest heaving, fiery passion and love everlasting. Plus a dash of paperwork filing and horseshi-wait, what? By day, Viv Franklin designs software programs. By night, Vivian’s a secret romance-novel junkie who longs for a […]
The final book in a romance series set in a “fun, sexy world” (USA TODAY), where paranormals seek love through a dating service called Midnight Liaisons. Ryder is hiding a dark secret from her coworkers at Midnight Liaisons. Every time she’s sexually attracted to a man, her dragon side breaks through. Not exactly man-bait! But […]
